Once you've got your aluminum bar stock in hand (AR-15 Non-Receiver) and your Zero Percent Starter Kit, you'll run the Zero Percent Lower code on your Ghost Gunner 3 unit. Simply follow the visual and text prompts from the software, just like how our current 80% lower/frame/receiver codes work. The GG3 will mill your AR-15 Non-Receiver into a completed piece (of a multi piece) stripped AR-15 lower receiver. This part is what will accept the fire control group, magazine release, bolt catch and take down pins. Everything that would be essential to the operation of an assembled AR-15 lower receiver in essence. (We haven't forgotten about the buffer tube.)
We call this finished part from the GG3 milling operations, the Upper Lower Receiver (ULR).
Imagine a standard AR-15 stripped lower receiver, but now subdivided into 3 critical pieces. The ULR forms the top half of the AR-15 lower receiver now. The Lower Lower Receiver (LLR) is currently a manufactured part in our Zero Lower Build Kit that provides you with a full magazine well, trigger guard, and tang for attaching a pistol grip once bolted to the ULR. Finally, the Buffer Tube Ring (BTR) is added via bolts to the ULR to form a complete stripped AR-15 lower receiver. We do suggest using loctite threadlocker red 271 on all bolts of your Zero Percent Lower build for best results. Our test rifle has held up quite well, and we think you'll really enjoy this as we have.
