Frame Compatability
The M1911 Starter Kit is compatible with Stealth Arms' line of aluminum frames in either Government or Commander sizes with clearance for tactical railed frames in all calibers. The Stealth Arms 9MM family of frames differ in barrel seating and has its own cutting code, more detail here. 1911 9mm article. While the Ghost Gunner 3 is capable of cutting heat-treated steel the existing M1911 cutting code is tailored for 7075 billet aluminum M1911 frames only.

Note: Ghost Gunner 2 machines produced after March 2017 include a V2 spindle required to mill pistol frames. If you have an older GG2 produced in 2016, you’ll need to send it in for a spindle upgrade for $317. Original Ghost Gunner 1 machines can be upgraded to mill pistols for $500.
