AR308 Code Changes

For best results, please make sure to use the most recent AR-308 cutting codes.  The original AR-308 jig design has not changed. However, the placement of the holes in the AR-308 program has changed in accordance with changes made by the 80% lower manufacturer. 

When using AR-308 code from 8/20/18 or newer, the selector, trigger, and hammer pin holes milled into the lower will not line up with the holes in the left jig piece and will cut into the jig slightly rearward. The holes on the lower will be cut in the correct position. Cutting into the jig poses no significant problem. The holes on the jig are irrelevant in the milling process, as the program probes the lower itself to locate the position of each hole.
