Loaning your Ghost Gunner
As long as no money or any other thing of value is exchanged, generally speaking, letting your friend use your Ghost Gunner is no different than letting them use any other power tool. It is legally equivalent to letting your friend borrow a hammer or a shovel.
That being said, you are in very dangerous waters once money is involved. If you rent out the machine, or charge other people to use it, the ATF may consider you to be “in the business” of manufacturing firearms. If this is the case, and you do not have a type 07 FFL, you could face severe criminal charges and fines. Therefore, we strongly recommend against monetizing your Ghost Gunner without an FFL.
