Staying Connected to your Ghost Gunner
Make sure your computer's power settings are configured so that the computer doesn't go into sleep mode, hibernation, or otherwise enter a low power state when left idle. The USB cable must be plugged into the Ghost Gunner and computer. The computer must be plugged into the power supply and not dependent on battery power.
Disable or uninstall antivirus software as it can interfere with Ghost Gunner’s programs. Grant permission to allow DDCut V to run. Programs such as Windows Defender may stop DDCut V from running, making it necessary that you grant position.
Plug the Ghost Gunner 3 into a grounded switched power strip. Dedicate an outlet to the machine to ensure adequate power to the motor. Do not connect other devices to the same outlet as the Ghost Gunner. Switch off power to the machine when not in use. Stepper motors will get very hot when the machine is idle.
