Milling Partially Completed Lowers
If you have a partially completed lower, do not worry! The Ghost Gunner can still take care of this for you. You can run the pocket milling operations again to complete the FCG lower and trigger slot. The machine only looks for the lower during the probe sequence just before the milling process. Once it has locked in on the part in the probe sequence, it will blindly cut while assuming the lower is where it was during the probe sequence. It does not matter if the pin holes or FCG pocket are completed, partially milled, or un-milled, as the Ghost Gunner does not probe the lower in the same spot as it cuts.
1. The necessary program, AR15_pocket.dd, is located in Ghost Gunner/Cutting Code/AR15 Code/Additional AR15 Code/.
