Ridging and Chatter in FCG Pocket
Ridging and chatter can occur in a few different ways in the FCG pocket. There are two common ways that this can happen. The first is an improperly seated collet resulting in a loose or non-orthogonal tool, which is most commonly in ridging. It can also be because of a worn-out collect, which is most commonly in chatter. In the second case, the collet will need to be replaced.
If you have replaced the collet, and the collet and tool are confirmed to be seated properly, but you still experience this issue, there are most likely more serious issues with your Ghost Gunner, and you should call our support number.
