Y Limit Switch Replacement

1.  Remove the Ghost Gunner's rear panel. Use a 2.5mm allen to remove 7 bolts.

2.  Turn your Ghost Gunner upside-down.

Note | You can turn stepper motors by hand. Turn the coupling that connects the motor to the ball screw.

3.  Manually turn the z axis to move the spindle assembly forward to expose the z limit switch.

4.  Move the Y gantry to the machine’s left wall, away from the y stepper motor.

5.  Use a 2.5 mm ball end allen to loosen the two bolts to the limit switch. Access the limit switch nuts with a 5.5 mm wrench.

6.  Disconnect the wiring connector and remove the limit switch.

7.  Take care not to lose the 2 plastic standoffs under the switch.

8.  Install the new switch. Thread bolts through plastic standoffs and gently tighten nuts until snug. The limit switch should not be able to slide around. Take care not to over-torque the bolts or it could damage the switch. Finally connect wiring connector.
