Adjusting X Limit Switch

Prior to the Trigger Well Probe operation the end mill should be centered in the rear magazine well as shown in the following image.

You may need to adjust the X-limit switch position so the t-slot platform homes at the correct height.

Use the following images to locate and adjust the x limit switch.

Adjust the limit switch up or down so that the t-slot platform homes to the height required to center the end mill in the rear mag well wall in such a way that it does not make contact with the bumps on either side of the rear mag well wall when probing the lower’s position. Once you’ve adjusted the limit switch, run the program up to the point that you place the lower in the bay and slide it to the left to verify that the end mill is centered in the rear mag well. It may take several attempts of going back and forth to adjust the limit switch and checking for proper end mill placement. The end mill doesn’t have to be perfectly centered, just in the middle of the mag well enough that it doesn’t contact the bevels on either side of the rear mag well wall.
